Suggest sequels (also, I describe how I write stories)

This didn't get much response the last time I tried it, but that's not a reason not to try again.

 

Sometimes, people want me to write sequels to the stories I've written, which is always flattering. Now, I'm going to let my readers vote on which one. Write a comment naming a story of mine you'd like to see a sequel to, and once I have a few suggestions, I'll create a poll. Whichever wins, I'll write a sequel to it.

 

Feel free to also suggest what you'd like to happen in that story. I'm not promising to follow your suggestion, but if I like your ideas, I will use them. I might also write sequels to the runners-up, if inspiration strikes me.

 

I'd also like to share with you my process for creating stories, in case anyone was curious. 

The initial idea can come from a variety of places. Often, they come from spanking photographs or drawings, or I see something in someone else's story that I want to put my own spin on. Sometimes, it's a scene from a vanilla book or movie that I think could make a good spanking story - or it can be a joke, a meme, a song lyric, or something silly like that. The story The Robot Assistant was based on a picture I saw where Grammarly (or a similar service) suggested replacing "good girl" with "satisfactory small woman".

 

I make a text file on my computer where I write down all the ideas I have for the story - who's involved, what the reason for the spanking is, which implements are used, what the end result is, memorable lines to use, etc. I want to note as many small details as possible, so I don't have to stop and make decisions once I actually start writing, as this can break my flow.

 

When I have some spare hours, I sit down, open a text editor, and start writing. I write the whole story from start to finish, completing it in a single sitting, since it's a lot harder to get back into the flow if I take a long break. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it needs to be completed; I can't start editing until there's something there to edit. It takes roughly half an hour to fill a page, so a five-page story takes two and a half hours. I save the file, and leave it alone for a few days.

 

A few days later, I open the file and look at it with fresh eyes. I read through it, fixing the stuff that doesn't quite make sense, rearranging events and sentences to improve the flow, and see whether I need to use synonyms (for example, if I think I've used the word 'scolded' too many times, I might replace it in some places with 'lectured', 'reproached', and 'admonished'). Anything that jumps at me when I read through it.

 

Once the editing is done and I have something that's more competently written, I leave it for another day or two and see what else I can do with it. Anything else that can be added or removed, lines that don't work, or elements I can introduce? Shortly after the third draft is completed, I upload the story here - and then I wait a week before sending it to TheSpankingLibrary.org, if I'm particularly pleased with it.

 

I can't find the quote right now, but the playwright Henrik Ibsen once said something along the lines that he wrote all of his plays three times. The first time, he knew the characters as if he'd taken a long train ride in the same carriage as them. The second time, as if they'd spent a month at the same hotel. The third time, it was as if he'd known them all his life. I wouldn't go quite that far, but I notice that the characters always develop a voice, and my editing process always improves the end result.
